Road to Pro Kabaddi 2015

Following the success of Pro Kabaddi League season 1, season 2 was announced with much fanfare via a Salman Khan ‘Mauka Mauka’ advertisement. This was rip-off of the famous ‘Mauka Mauka’ ad series made for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 where a Pakistani fan was seen supporting other cricketing nations in their quest to beat India after Pakistan’s loss to us. As the opening date grew closer, Amitabh Bachchan was roped in to sing the LePanga song for Pro Kabaddi.

To top it all, the tournament starts from where it left-off, a rematch between the top 2 sides of season 1. Jaipur Pink Panthers are the defending champions and looking to put another victory under their belt over the famed Anup Kumar and his U Mumba team. It will be exciting to see if U Mumba can repeat their opening day victory of Pro Kabaddi League season 1 in season 2 as well. I, being a Mumbaikar, personally hope that U Mumba go one step further and lift the title of Pro Kabaddi League 2015 with Anup Kumar lifting the trophy in front of the home crowd at Dome, NSCI.
